The Perfect Salmon
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
12 oz. wild caught salmon fillet (serves 2 people)
1 tablespoon finely chopped scallions
salt – as per taste
For the sauce:
1 teaspoon roasted sesame oil
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1 teaspoon ginger paste
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place the salmon, skin side down, on a baking pan with aluminum foil.
Season salmon with salt.
Mix all the listed ingredients to make the sauce.
Spread the sauce over the salmon making sure the entire piece is covered.
Bake until salmon is cooked through, about 12-15 minutes.
Garnish with scallions and serve hot.
Broccoli and potatoes go well with backed salmon.
